Supporters’ Appreciation Afternoon

On March 21, we held a special event where we welcomed participants of the public media’s "It’s Good to Be Good!" charitable campaign and our key supporters. We expressed our gratitude to everyone and presented awards to those who stood out with their selfless help to make the new Tábitha Children’s Hospice House a reality.
Supporter recognitions were given to:
- Miklós Soltész, State Secretary for Church and Nationality Relations at the Prime Minister’s Office, representing the Hungarian Government
- Krisztina Kelemen, representing the Pro Filii Foundation
- Zoltán Pető, representing the Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA)
- Beatrix Siklósi and Edina Csizmár, project leaders of "It’s Good to Be Good!"
- Kornél Herjeczki, representing the Leukemia Patients’ Foundation
- Ildikó Panulin, representing Szerencsejáték Zrt.
- István Zsolt Nagy, representing Wienenberger Zrt.
- Judit Cservenka, representing the Fráter Lóránd Professor Foundation
- Péter Kiss, representing the Hungarian Baptist Church
- Richter Gedeon Plc.
- American and Canadian Baptist Communities
- Meta-Vulk Foreign Trade Ltd.
- Batthyány Lajos Foundation
We extend special thanks to Dr. Anita Herczegh, wife of President János Áder, and Katalin Makray, wife of President Pál Schmitt, for their personal presence and support of the children at Tábitha.
We also thank the Batthyány Lajos Foundation and the Aranybástya Restaurant for the wonderful venue and hospitality.
The dream began to come true with the support of the Velux Foundation and the Hungarian Government, and we are happy to say that with the community effort of the "It’s Good to Be Good!" campaign, the remaining budget was secured! Thus, the completion of the new Tábitha House has become a reality, and soon a European-standard institution of more than 1000 square meters will be ready, where we can support even more families facing the hardest life situations. This is the power of community, which can bring about change by coming together.
We thank everyone who participated in this incredible work and contributed to the realization of the new Tábitha House!
