Volunteering

Being a children’s hospice volunteer is a noble and heartwarming task.
If you feel called to help children with multiple disabilities and their families, there are many volunteer opportunities to choose from. As Tábitha helpers, our role is to enrich the lives of incurably ill children, their parents, and siblings with joyful moments and compassionate attention.
Let’s help together those who need it the most.

Our Volunteer Training Programs

During the 40-hour children’s hospice volunteer training, applicants get to know the members of the pediatric palliative care team and the tasks we perform. The training provides detailed insight into the work of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, special education teachers, and various therapists. Those who complete the full program can also take on bedside volunteer work after the course, as the training prepares them through theoretical lessons, self-awareness and communication modules, as well as practical nursing skills—all included in the 40-hour course. For more detailed information, please contact us.

Volunteer Training Dates: Fall 2024
