Services

At our unique children’s hospice institution in Hungary, a trained professional team works together to provide diverse, tailored, and free care to the children and families who come to us. Our doctors and specialized nurses are supported by psychologists, play and animal-assisted therapists, physiotherapists, and a large number of dedicated volunteers.

It is important to us that every child receives care personalized to their individual needs and condition. We care for our little patients without strict restrictions, yet always adhering to professional protocols and standards.

End-of-Life Care

Our end-of-life support is provided to children and their families who, despite medical treatments, have no chance of recovery and are expected to have less than 12 months together.

Exemption Service

We assist children living with severe, incurable, life-shortening illnesses who require 24-hour care, along with their families. In these cases, the child stays with us alone on pre-arranged days, allowing the family to rest or take care of official matters.

Transitional Care

We support families whose child requires long-term, specialized home care after a hospital stay. Our goal is to shorten the time spent in hospital and help parents master their child’s professional and safe care in a calm, family-like environment.

Psychological Support

The psychological services at Tábitha House are available free of charge to families raising children with chronic or incurable illnesses who are in end-of-life situations, as well as to families who have lost a child.
