The Tábitha House is a house of life, where the moments before death are the most precious — a place where every child can say goodbye with dignity, and families can find comfort in a loving, caring environment.

Panka’s Story

My pregnancy was smooth and problem-free until the 28th week. We were excitedly preparing for the 4D ultrasound to find out if we were expecting a boy or a girl when we received news that I believe no one can ever be prepared for.

Volunteering

Volunteers play a vital role in the life and operation of the children’s hospice. Caring for the children, reading them stories, helping around the house, or representing us at events — all of these can be part of a volunteer’s responsibilities. We prepare our volunteers for their tasks through sensitivity training days held twice a year, as well as dedicated volunteer training sessions.
